Secure, flexible, and built for teams.
Trellis is the git-powered app that allows teams with diverse skill sets to collaborate on technical documentation, knowledge bases, and more—all while keeping your data fully under your control.
Trellis is still in early stages of development, so it will be a while before we can give anyone access to the app.
However, if you would be interested in using an app like this or if there are specific features you'd like to see, please let us know! You can do that by sending your comments to the email below.
Features
(subject to change as development progresses)
Git-Powered
Trellis builds on top of your existing source control tools to provide the same robust version-control and collaboration tools that are available to your code base.
However, Trellis also provides a simple interface allowing non-technical users to contribute without requiring them to even install git.
Data Ownership
Inspired by Obsidian, Trellis uses open file formats to ensure that you will always have access to your data—even if Trellis ceases to exist.
Easy Editing
Markdown, the main format supported by Trellis, can be easily edited using our raw editor, our hybrid Obsidian-style editor, or a simple WYSIWYG editor which requires no knowledge of markdown.
